As a rapidly scaling B2B payments startup, we're looking for an organised, detailed, self-starter to support our Engineering Team. This is your chance to shape our testing strategy, enhance automation, and ensure our platform is robust and reliable.

Requirements
What This Role Demands:

• You Own It - You take full responsibility for testing processes, from designing automation frameworks to executing critical manual tests for complex scenarios. If something is broken, you don't just report it—you drive the fix.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conducting exploratory, functional, and regression testing for new features and enhancements
• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
• Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance
• Performing manual testing for complex, unscripted, and edge-case scenarios where automation is not feasible
• Writing and executing API tests using tools like Postman
• Identifying, tracking, and validating bugs, working closely with developers for quick resolution
• Advocating for quality best practices and contributing to process improvements
• Documenting manual test cases, automated scripts, and testing methodologies for long-term scalability

What We're Looking For:

• Testing Expert - Strong experience in exploratory, functional, and regression testing for web applications.
• Automation Pro - Hands-on experience with frameworks like Playwright, or equivalent.
• Coding Skills - Proficiency in TypeScript or Javascript for writing automated test scripts.
• CI/CD Knowledge - Experience integrating automated tests into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• API Testing - Familiarity with tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Database Testing - Knowledge of SQL for validating data integrity.
• Detail-Oriented Thinker - You anticipate edge cases and ensure real-world scenarios are covered.
• Great Communicator - You collaborate effectively with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders.
• Proactive Mindset - You take initiative, own the testing process, and drive quality improvements.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Experience in Payments or FinTech domain
