AUTOMATION ENGINEER
10+ MONTH CONTRACT +EXTENSIONS
MUST BE ONSITE IN PETERBOROUGH
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH Rockwell Factory Talk, Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens PLCs.
One of my Top Global Clients in The UK is hiring for a Automation Engineer to join their exclusive implementation/deployment project!
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business management and end users to design value added functionality/capabilities to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and compliance.
- Ensure that existing and developed solutions are meeting company standards and processes.
- Look after automation systems access process.
- Implement and deploy automation solution updates.
Main Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience with Rockwell Factory Talk, Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens PLCs.
- Ability to dive into pre-existing/operational code to determine its functionality.
- Understands automation software development lifecycle and solution support methodologies.
- Experience in Installation and Commissioning, System platform Migrations, Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SQL and Industrial Communication Protocols.
