Job Title: Automation Application Developer

Location: London, 3 days per week on site

Duration: 6-month contract

Rate: £400.00 per day (umbrella)

Job Purpose: We are seeking an Automation Application Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing automation workflows, supporting the implementation of RPA solutions, and ensuring the overall quality of the system. You will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure that automation processes interface seamlessly with end-to-end solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with RPA Business Analysts to design, develop, and implement RPA solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs) throughout the project lifecycle, detailing RPA workflows, technical specifications, and process flows.
3. Lead the investigation and analysis of RPA incidents and process exceptions, applying strategic root cause analysis.
4. Develop and deploy reliable processes for robots/bots using a custom framework based on the Robotic Enterprise Framework (REFramework).
5. Utilize C#.NET to develop peripheral functions, including data reconciliation, report generation (PDF, Excel, SSRS), and other necessary tools.
6. Write and maintain SQL scripts for SQL Server and Oracle to support data functions and analysis.
7. Coordinate with other development teams to ensure consistent data processing and system integration.
8. Conduct RPA testing and provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
9. Provide regular progress updates and handle issues related to development, UAT, and bug fixes.
10. Support production environments by monitoring and troubleshooting RPA solutions.
11. Ensure adherence to company coding standards and best practices.

Key Skills and Experience:

1. Strong experience in developing automation processes and RPA solutions.
2. Proficiency in C#.NET for developing peripheral functions and handling complex system requirements.
3. Experience with SQL (SQL Server and Oracle) for scripting and data analysis.
4. Strong understanding of RPA frameworks (e.g., REFramework) and automation workflows.
5. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.
6. Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting RPA incidents.
7. Ability to maintain and develop complex solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production support.
