Role: AutoCAD Technician (Civil Engineering)

Location: Wigan

Salary: £25K-£30K

A well-established multi-disciplinary design consultancy is looking for an ambitious AutoCAD Technician (Civil Engineering), offering an opportunity to learn all aspects of Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural Engineering.

As an AutoCAD Technician (Civil Engineering), you will be part of the Geotechnical team while assisting the civil and structural teams using multiple ground engineering/geotechnical software, primarily delivering on AutoCAD and potentially Civil 3D.

Typical drawings include volumes, geological sections, cut & fill, 3D ground models, borehole location plans, heat maps, GIS, etc. You will also gain experience on other civil/structural drawings to expand your knowledge.

AutoCAD Technician (Civil Engineering) Specification:

1. 12 months+ experience on AutoCAD, ideally within the civil/geo field, although other disciplines will be considered.
2. A desire to learn Civil Engineering with ideally an HNC or HND.
3. Live local to Wigan.
