Auto Electrician

Location: Near Dursley
Hours: 07:00 - 16:30
Salary: Highly competitive, based on experience

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems in both new and remanufactured vehicles. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the performance and reliability of our advanced refuse vehicles.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose electrical faults and repair vehicle wiring systems using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  2. Install and test electrical components and wiring harnesses.
  3. Interpret technical schematics and maintain accurate records of work.
  4. Collaborate with production and design teams to improve vehicle electrical performance.
  5. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and procedures.

About You
  1. Qualified Auto Electrician with experience in automotive electrical systems.
  2. Competent in using modern diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics.
  3. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  4. Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds) are highly desirable.
  5. A self-starter with a commitment to safety and delivering quality work.
