Autism Support Assistant – Ascot
Immediate Start | Full-Time | Focus on Autism & SEN

Are you a graduate eager to gain hands-on experience supporting young people with Autism (ASD)? Do you have a passion for helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential?

A dedicated Specialist School in Ascot is seeking an empathetic and proactive Autism Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This inclusive school provides tailored support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sensory processing difficulties, and social communication needs. Ideal candidates will be patient, adaptable, and have a background or keen interest in fields such as Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  1. Strong communication and teamwork skills
  2. A patient, calm, and resilient approach

  4. A desire to build a career supporting students with Autism
Your Responsibilities:
  1. Providing one-to-one and group support to students with Autism
  2. Assisting with sensory regulation techniques and behaviour strategies
  3. Supporting students’ social development and self-esteem
  4. Collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement tailored learning plans
Role Details:
  1. Position: Autism Support Assistant
  2. Location: Ascot
  3. Pay: £83 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)
  4. Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)
  5. Contract: Long-term temporary with potential for permanent placement
  6. Experience: Not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key!
