Autism Specialist Assistant - Theale, West Berkshire

An amazing specialist school in Theale is looking to welcome an Autism Specialist Assistant in February 2025 to support their students this term. The school provides education to young people with autism and learning difficulties. The students, aged 5-18, attending the school perform better with consistent guidance and support, which is where YOU will come in!

The position of Autism Specialist Assistant is a full-time opportunity, supporting students on a 1-1 basis. The successful Autism Specialist Assistant will be responsible for helping students to achieve their potential. This will include:

  1. Keeping them focused on tasks
  2. Encouraging independency and confidence
  3. Practicing self-regulation
  4. Identifying areas of improvement
