Autism Care Assistant for a young person P/T @ £13.74/hr in Wooler - FTE - £26.8k - Wooler - NE71

Young man in Milfield area requires an enabler to support with 4hrs per week. Hours to be arranged flexibly with client.

Must like birds and other animals
Driver with access to own car essential and business use on insurance
Experience preferred but not essential.
Hours of work: 4hrs per week
Rates of Pay: £13.74 per hour

Main Duties:

1. Enabling support required with socialising and accessing the local community and visiting places of interest.
2. To encourage client to look after birds including cleaning and feeding them.

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense). Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
