Our client, a top 10 UK accountancy firm and the largest SME practice, is looking for an Audit Senior to join their team in Newcastle.
- Take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager
- Assist in delivering revenue and profitability targets
- Develop strong and lasting client relationships
- Lead audit fieldwork, substantive testing, and analytical procedures, often on-site at client premises
- Plan and complete audit assignments, ensuring appropriate documentation
- Prepare statutory financial statements and identify high-risk areas or concerns for Partner/Manager review
- Execute and finalize audit assignments for management review
- British nationals or candidates with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) will only be considered
- Minimum 4-5 years of practice experience in audit
- Working knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP
- ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification
- Experience auditing clients across various industries
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members
