The Opportunity

Our Edinburgh office currently has a unique and exciting opening to join our Audit service line as a Partner and play a key role in the Central Scotland leadership team. You will work closely with our Audit Partner group across Scotland and will be supported by an experienced and knowledgeable network within the firm.

Day to day duties

  1. Lead on dealing with a wide variety of clients from various sectors, providing advice to owner managers on both business and personal matters and thereby acting as a trusted business adviser.
  2. Drive revenue growth across existing and new service offerings, demonstrating broad business thinking and sound commercial judgement to add value.
  3. Work collaboratively to suggest ideas and concepts for increased marketing opportunities with existing clients, maximizing cross-selling opportunities.
  4. Oversee all aspects of client engagement, assuming overall responsibility for allocating work and ensuring client service is maintained at a high level.
  5. Manage the end-to-end audit process, including budgets and timescales, ideally acting as RI.

What are we looking for?

  1. Ideally hold RI status.
  2. Ability to analyze complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities, demonstrating an excellent working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP.
  3. ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified with senior level experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients while leading a team.
  4. Confident communicator.
  5. Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and take appropriate action.
