About the Role

This role offers the chance to work with prestigious clients, including well-known charities, housing associations, schools, academies, and professional bodies. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of non-profit clients, deliver exceptional audit services, and contribute to the development of a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of external audit clients, ensuring year-round service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Lead multiple audit teams, ensuring completion within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing proactive and insightful support.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and Audit Committees/Boards.
  • Direct, coach, and mentor audit teams to foster their development.
  • Engage in business development activities, including proposals and presentations.
  • Participate in firm-wide training and assurance services as needed.

About You:

  • ACA, ICAS, or ACCA qualified.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
  • Experience in charity audits and familiarity with the Charities SORP is an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills to support junior colleagues.
  • A genuine interest in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
