Puro Associates are recruiting for an Audit Manager to join a chartered firm of ours based in Berwick-upon-Tweed that offer a range of accountancy services. Responsibilities of an Audit Manager include but are not limited to:

• Manage a diverse client portfolio ensuring the best high quality audit and assurance services.
• Managing audits from planning to completion.
• Monitoring the progression of audit assignments including budget and timeframes.
• Assisting and supporting junior members of staff and monitoring the workload. As well as coaching and mentoring other members of the audit department.
• Stay updated on UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.

What we are looking for in an ideal Audit Manager:

• Fully ACA/ACCA/ICAS Qualified or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience as an Audit Manager or similar role.
• Experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Supervisory or manager-level experience.
• Proven record of monitoring the entire audit process and leading audit assignments.
