This Audit Manager role focuses on ensuring the integrity of these models by leading audits across the entire model lifecycle, from design to validation. You'll play a vital part in mitigating model risk and safeguarding the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading Model Risk Audits: This is the core function, encompassing the entire model lifecycle from conceptual soundness to independent validation. This requires a deep understanding of model risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
• Proactive Department Contribution: Beyond individual audits, the role involves contributing to the broader Internal Audit function through ongoing business monitoring and follow-up on recommendations. This suggests a need for a proactive and ownership-oriented individual.
• Best Practice Advocacy: The role involves advising the business on implementing best practices, indicating a consultative element and the need to influence stakeholders.
• Project Management: Managing assigned responsibilities within time and budget constraints, optimizing resource utilization, and evaluating outcomes against plans are crucial.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting complex data and contributing to assurance activities.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicating process improvements and gaining stakeholder buy-in are highlighted, emphasizing the importance of communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Requirements:

• Model Risk Audit Experience: A proven track record in model risk-related audits, projects, or processes is a must-have. This is the key differentiator for this role.
