Bennett and Game are delighted to be partnering a multi-faceted, independent accountancy practice as they recruit for an audit manager in their Central London office. Offering up to £72,000, hybrid working, 25 days holiday, private health insurance, and more.

This role is well suited to a qualified audit accountant, looking to work within a growing and reputable practice. With a proven track record in managing a mixed client portfolio and team of juniors. Audit Manager Job Overview
  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, executing, and completing financial audits in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Review and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and business development, collaborating with partners to expand client engagements.
  • Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Review automated audit work papers prepared by audit staff.
  • Responsible for corporation tax compliance function of portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • 70/30 split between audit and accounts.
Audit Manager Job Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with post qualification experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in audit, accounting, and tax, in a reputable accounting firm. Ideally 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of small to large clients.
  • Thorough understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS and other accounting and audit standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in coaching and mentoring staff.

  • Competitive salary dependant on experience, in the region of £70,000-£72,000.
