Audit Assistant

A well-established and reputable business based in Hull is currently looking to recruit an experienced Audit Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £60,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

As an Audit Manager, you will be:

1. Leading and overseeing a portfolio of audit assignments across a diverse client base
2. Managing and mentoring a team of audit professionals to ensure high-quality delivery
3. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships
4. Reviewing audit files and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
5. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and adding value to client operations
6. Supporting senior leadership with strategic initiatives and business development
7. Ensuring deadlines and budgets are met across all audit engagements

To be successful in this Audit Manager role, you will ideally have:

1. ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in audit
2. Proven leadership and staff management skills within a practice environment
3. Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles
4. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
5. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
