Audit & Accounts Director

Location: Cardiff

Position: Full Time / Permanent

Salary: Negotioable D.O.E


About the Role:
As an Audit and Accounts Director, your primary responsibility is to drive business growth by expanding the client base while ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. This role requires a strategic leader who can build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, provide industry-leading advice, and foster a high-performance culture aligned with our clients vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Win, manage and grow own portfolio of clients.
  2. Provide industry leading insights, solutions and advice to build the firm’s reputation and client base.
  3. Promote the products, services and image of the firm to generate new business opportunities and enhance the reputation of the firm.
  4. Create and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, Directors and staff.
  5. Contribute to strategic and business planning to deliver an increase in revenue and profits.
  6. Recruit, develop and manage a high performing team who deliver a great service to clients and meet their billing targets.
  7. Create a high performing culture where people live the vision, mission and values and take action to improve if not.
  8. Ensure client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations.
  9. Provide leadership and direction to the team to help motivate and inspire people to higher performance.
  10. Set performance measures, review performance and take effective action to improve when off track.

Key Requirements:

  1. Qualified ACA / ACCA with 5 years plus experience in managing a client portfolio.
  2. Strong experience in client facing meetings.
  3. Experience in company tax planning.
