Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultants, Clark Wood, are working with a prestigious and progressive firm of chartered accountants who are keen to add an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join the growing team in their Stoke office.

As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.

The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments on a variety of clients, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
2. Preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships
3. Assisting in the preparation of the audit plan and ensuring it appropriately addresses audit objectives
4. Assisting senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premises

Skills:

1. AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA Students
2. Experience in working with Owner Managed Business
3. Experience of assisting on audit assignments is essential
