Job summary
The Audiology service at the Mid Yorkshire Teaching Trust are seeking two friendly and motivated individuals to join our busy establishment of Audiologists and support staff providing a wide range of Audiological services to the local community.
Your duties will include a variety of clerical and administrative tasks which would be reception work that is both face to face and telephone, and the booking of appointments. Full training and development will be given for all relevant areas to the post. The hours to be worked are 1 x 23.25 per week and 1 x 37.5.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who has the ability to organise and work on their own initiative and be part of a team. You will need to have a good understanding of English language and numeracy. Some previous experience associated with office work would be an advantage as would basic IT skills and some experience of working with the general public.
Your place of work will be the Audiology department at Pinderfields General Hospital, although on occasions you may be asked to provide support for the Audiology department at Dewsbury and District Hospital.
The post holder will work within the Audiology team to provide a variety of clerical and administration duties in which to support the office function of the Audiology service including appointing and receiving patients to the service.
