Contract Terms: Fixed Term Contract Until End of December, 40 hours per week

THE JOB
We are looking for an experienced AV Specialist to work primarily on-site at our London HQ, taking full responsibility for providing technical onsite support for our HQ and support across our international estate based primarily in EMEA, along with managing the event spaces inside the corporate environment. This role focuses on internal corporate environments, not live public events.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Travel across the UK and EMEA to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain new and existing Zoom setups.
- Collaborate with the wider IT Team to support & manage event spaces from an operational and technical perspective, including monitoring and routine checks across all event-related hardware and systems.
- Tailor and lead internal and external events from conception to completion, bringing in third parties as required.
- Work closely with onsite IT and business resources to ensure events are sufficiently resourced and supported.
- Serve as a main point of contact and subject matter expert to clients and planners for presentations, conferences, webinars and live broadcast events.
- Devise, document, execute and maintain operating and maintenance procedures for all meeting room and stage locations.
- Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and trends to recommend and implement improvements.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process enhancements and best practices in AV management via event debriefs and customer feedback.
- Collate and provide post-event reporting, stats, and client feedback as required.
- Provide white glove service for large, complex events, as well as town halls and special events.
- Generate reports and contact VIP clients to establish full nature of meeting and event requirements.
- Work alongside local Facilities teams to ensure all AV setups and operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage repairs alongside onsite IT.
- Regularly audit software and firmware versions, and coordinate required upgrades with local IT.
- Work with the network team to ensure all devices are enrolled in remote device management software.
- Assist in planning and management of the AV budget, including forecasting costs for equipment upgrades and maintenance.
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal staff on the use of AV equipment and systems alongside our internal L&D IT resource.
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and competent.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
- Experience with Crestron technologies including digital matrix, control systems, control panels& XPanel UI.
- Working knowledge of LED wall technology such as Samsung the Wall.
- Experience completing Integrations such as BMS lighting controls & BMS fire alarms.
- Good level of experience of Dante.
- Understanding of Tripleplay, Analogue Way, tesira forte& Shure.
- Ability to support Zoom (meeting and webinars).
- Working knowledge of Broadcasting (NDI/Vision mixing).
- Possess a strong understanding of digital AV environments, terminology including AV architecture and cabling.
