We are an established Audio Visual Hire, Live Events and Staging Company based in Central London, and have been trading for over 25 years.

The Job Overview

We are looking for an Audio Visual Live Technician for Events. Ideal candidates should have great live event technical experience with a skill base across all aspects of A.V equipment. The right candidate should be ambitious and is able to use their own initiative to solve problems and learn about new technology.

Responsibilities And Duties

As an experienced AV Technician, your duties will include:

  1. Working with Account Managers.
  2. Supervising contractors and freelancers while on site during rigs and de-rigs and ensuring that they are operating on company standards.
  3. Testing equipment prior to going on site.
  4. Checking & Loading/Unloading equipment.
  5. Delivering, Setting-up and de-rigging AV Equipment.
  6. Operating and/or working on Live Events.

Qualifications And Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

  1. A proven in-depth understanding of AV, including: Sound, Lighting, Video, Projection, IT, etc.
  2. Experience in all aspects of productions.
  3. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  4. The ability to display that you regularly use your own initiative.
  5. Experience of delivering a high-quality service to all types of clients, with excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  6. A good positive and happy attitude as well as being a team player.
  7. The ability to work long hours on events when required due to the nature of the events industry.
  8. The ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly.
  9. Professional representation of the company on its customer’s sites.
  10. The capability to carry and lift AV equipment and staging from vans to venues.
