Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

The role of an Audio Social Journalist is key to connecting audiences with our content and personalities at BBC Radio York including Georgey Spanswick, Joanita Musisi, and Bek Homer on social platforms.

We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Audio Social Journalist to join our dynamic team based in York, bringing North Yorkshire’s stories alive across all of our platforms.
