Are you passionate about education and ensuring students reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Attendance Officer to join our vibrant Secondary School & Sixth Form in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives by promoting excellent attendance and punctuality.

• Monitor and track student attendance daily.
• Work closely with students, parents, and staff to address attendance issues.
• Implement strategies to improve attendance rates.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and punctuality.
• Prepare and present attendance reports to senior leadership.
• Liaise with external agencies when necessary to support students.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
• Previous experience as an Attendance Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Proficiency in using attendance management systems.
