As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated Associate Transport Planner to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

The Role:

As an Associate Transport Planner, you will play a key role in project delivery, client engagement, and business growth. You will be responsible for leading projects, liaising with clients, and mentoring junior team members. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced transport planner looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver transport planning projects across various sectors.
  • Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders on transport-related matters.
  • Prepare transport assessments, travel plans, feasibility studies, and other technical reports.
  • Work closely with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Assist in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices.

Requirements

  • A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in transport planning, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of transport assessment methodologies and relevant planning policies.
  • Proficiency in transport planning software such as Junctions 9, LinSig, TRICS, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in business development and client management is desirable.
