Job description

Associate/Senior Associate - Real Estate (Commercial and Renewable)

Are you a commercial real estate lawyer looking for your next challenge? I'm working with a Top 100 growing firm with a dynamic team in Bristol, keen to speak with a talented Solicitor to join them. If you have over 4 years' experience in real estate finance and renewables, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The real estate team is known for handling a wide range of transactions across all commercial property asset classes. They take a full-service approach, working closely with specialists in planning, construction, and property litigation. With strong expertise in tax, finance, funds, and corporate transactions, the team supports clients on both a local and international scale. Many of their long-standing clients include institutional funds, private equity houses, and financial institutions—some of these relationships go back over a century!

In this role, you’ll be involved in a mix of commercial real estate matters, from sales, purchases, and leases to landlord and tenant issues and development transactions. You’ll also gain exposure to property finance, corporate occupier matters, insolvency and recovery, PFI/PPP projects, and mortgage securitisations. If you have experience advising institutional investors, property funds, or financial institutions, even better. And if you have a background in renewables - particularly in the development, acquisition, and asset management of renewable projects - that’s something they're especially excited about.

I'm looking for someone who’s commercially minded, a strong negotiator, and confident in drafting. But beyond the technical skills, someone who’s a great team player, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to develop client relationships. You’ll also have the chance to contribute to marketing and business development initiatives, helping the team continue to grow.

What’s it like to work with the firm? They believe in making an impact, fostering a culture where every voice matters, and investing in their people. The learning and development programs are designed to help you progress in your career, and they offer a competitive benefits package that includes bonuses, private medical insurance, and pension contributions. A hybrid working model means you’ll be in the office at least 2/3 days a week, with flexibility based on team and client needs.

The firm are proud to be recognised for their commitment to diversity, social mobility, and supporting emerging talent. If you’re looking for a firm where you can grow, collaborate, and take on exciting work, I’d love to hear from you.
