Temporary Associate Pest Control Officer

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working

Key Requirements:

1. Level 3 or equivalent Qualification.
2. Manual Handling.
3. Experience of working within a pest control environment.
4. Experience of working as an individual or in a team.
5. Experience of dealing with the public and businesses.
6. Experience of Health and Safety and how it applies to daily duties.
7. To hold a valid UK driving licence to ‘Category B’ standard.

The purpose of the role is to provide, within both domestic and commercial premises, a safe, high quality and comprehensive service for the eradication and prevention of infestation of a wide range of pests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support work on all allocated service requests and respond to all in accordance with latest council, service and legislative policies.
2. Support investigations to identify a solution in line with the latest council, service and legislative policies.
3. Support contract reviews to ensure continued suitability for purpose, drive continuous improvement.
4. Contribute to reports to drive continuous improvement.
5. Work to agreed schedules and where necessary respond to new priorities as required to ensure deadlines are met.
6. Undertake operational duties in all weathers.
7. Ensure all materials, equipment and vehicles are used in accordance with council, service and legislative policies.
8. Comply with Health and Safety, Customer Care, Dignity at Work and other relevant legislation, policies and procedures at all times.
