Job Description:

Maiden Marc Associates are working with a leading retained executive search boutique to find several Associate and Senior Associate-level profiles to join their industry-leading Financial and Professional Services teams.

The firm focuses on operationally and strategically essential roles globally, with a track record of finding CEOs and leaders of critical revenue-generating functions within Finance Services, including a client base spanning leading Hedge Funds, Banks, and Asset/Wealth Managers.

Working directly under and learning from a hands-on Partner, the right individual will help execute search mandates from day one. As you develop further in your career, you will be encouraged to build your network, manage senior professionals as a trusted advisor, and develop into a fee-generating Principal.

Core role objectives include:

  • The ability to identify, reference, and proactively reach out and assess candidates for active mandates and core clients.
  • Create detail-oriented forensic competitor analysis, strategic overviews, bespoke market benchmarking, and product intelligence reports.
  • Execute on search mandates, focusing on candidate management and client delivery, while working closely with the Partners.
  • Own pre-pitch/origination research and due diligence responsibilities.

The firm is two years into a strategic 5-year growth plan and is looking for Associate and Senior Associate level talent to help drive this growth.

All high-performing Associates will have the opportunity to impact and grow with the firm.

They are looking for someone who ideally has the following:

  • 12 months to six years experience, preferably within a search or headhunting environment, though they would consider a high-performing contingent recruiter or someone from a relevant professional services background.
  • Experience on executive search mandates or market research projects.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a degree or postgraduate qualification, alongside exemplary writing skills and attention to detail.
  • A mature but driven personality that enjoys problem-solving and is motivated to deliver high-quality work.

Salary: Starts from £38,000 for junior roles, rising based on experience to £80,000+ for more experienced Principal-level candidates.

They also offer an industry-leading total compensation package (discretionary performance-driven bonus) alongside opportunities for internal growth, mentorship, and a route to relocation to their New York office.
