Job Title: Associate Electrical Engineer Building Services
Location: Oxford (Hybrid Working Available - 2 days in the office)

Are you ready to take the next step in your electrical engineering career Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong UK and international presence, is seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join their thriving Oxford office.

About the Role:

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in leading and delivering innovative building services design across a wide range of sectors, including Data Centres, commercial, healthcare, education, science & tech, and more. You ll manage projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical design for building services projects through all RIBA stages

  • Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams

  • Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to team development

  • Liaise with clients, attend meetings, and provide technical guidance

  • Ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and sustainability goals

  • Oversee quality control and project delivery within time and budget constraints

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng (IET or similar)

  • Proven experience in a consultancy or building services environment

  • Strong technical background in electrical systems design (lighting, LV distribution, fire alarm, data, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Experience with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and Amtech
