Product Supply and Logistics team is responsible for end-to-end supply chain in one of the fastest growing Hubs across the International Business Unit. You will be responsible for delivering medicine to patients in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Vision: Supervise and direct a dedicated team of professionals, including our talented colleagues in the UK, Ireland, and Denmark.
  • Drive Excellence: Oversee individual logistic service providers (LSPs) and distributors across multiple countries, ensuring seamless operations and commercial processes.
  • Strategic Impact: Play a crucial role in driving efficiency and improvements in our operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee “end-to-end” supply chain of Lilly products across all NE Hub Countries.

Typical distribution model in Key Hub market is “Direct to Pharmacy” where Lilly is responsible for all supply chain nodes to the actual dispensing point. Management of LSPs within a highly regulated cGDP environment is critical in the distribution process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead commercial & operational execution of delivery through third party logistics providers.
  • Work closely with Global Business Solution (GBS in Cork) to ensure all Order to Cash business processes are compliantly executed: order management, credit management, supply replenishment, delivery, and cash collection.
  • Lead local governance and communication ensuring timely review and accurate demand statement is available to manufacturing.
  • Operational analytics: review trends and executing on necessary supply decisions.

Compliantly manage all pricing, alternative access schemes and other commercial programmes

  • Administer SAP and LSP pricing to ensure compliance with approved Lilly pricing.
  • Identify, define & develop commercial opportunities:
  • Provide guidance on the development of commercial schemes including requirements of key customers (e.g. UK National Health Service)
  • Develop proposals and participate in IBU and Internal approval & implementation working closely with PRA colleagues with a focus on effective administration of schemes in a complaint and customer-oriented fashion.
  • Define and lead commercial administration support including contract preparation, payment & accounting administration, return on investment calculation, data review & analytics.
  • Administering and documenting Product donations approved through Compassionate Use programmes or requests.
  • Ensure that all active schemes are document and compliant, always “audit ready”.

Lead Commercial “Business to Business”, e.g. Pharmacy multiples, Compounders, home delivery providers etc.

  • Visit customers and build relationships. Be ready to handle escalated commercial issues.
  • Direct commercial and operational support & liaison with Brand Teams, Sales Teams & Key Account Managers.
  • Manage customer & commercial communications, principally through the management of the Lilly Customer Care organisation (Lilly and TPO) but also conduct field visits as required.

Strategic portfolio management

  • Lead strategic projects including seeking out and executing innovative and higher value (patient, HCP, Lilly) distribution options, implementing product discontinuation and/or divestment, driving strategic responses to legislative changes etc.
  • Leverage technology and AI to drive efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of supply chain operational and commercial experience. Experience in Pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry is a plus.
