Job SummaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust as an Associate Director of Nursing and Quality. As Associate Director of Nursing and Quality (ADNQ) you will work in partnership with the Associate Director of Operations (ADO) and Associate Medical Director (MDO).
Together you will ensure effective leadership to support the requirements of the Care Group. The care groups are re-aligning and it is likely this post will be the ADNQ for community services, as such you will need to be a strong leader with a mental health nursing background who understands the challenges and strengths of working in communities to deliver care.
You will have gravitas and demonstrate strong influencing and facilitation skills. As a senior leader for the profession, you will advocate for nursing and ensure the inclusion of clinical professions in the work of the care group trio. Strong relationships and inclusion of psychology and allied health professionals is a core requirement. You will need to be creative and flexible and you will participate in the future development of the Trust.

We are seeking a passionate and driven nurse leader who can engage with service users, carers, and staff teams into the local system. You will hold responsibility to develop and implement quality standards, lead quality improvement, and ensure the voice of our service users is present throughout developments in our service delivery.

Person SpecificationQualifications Essential- Current RMN or RNLD Nursing.
- Post graduate qualification in leadership and management or equivalent portfolio of experience.
- Masters degree in relevant subject.
- Post graduate qualification in specialist nursing practice or equivalent experience.
Desirable- Managerial / Teaching Qualification.
Experience Essential- Extensive senior clinical management/professional leadership experience in a large complex NHS organisation.
