An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Global Medical Strategy Team with a focus on Lymphoma & Leukemia. In this role, you will be part of one of the recent most impactful medical advancements in patient care and work towards better outcomes for patients with hematological malignancies.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as Associate Director within Global Medical Affairs Cell Therapy. The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs will work cross-functionally within Global Medical Affairs, Field medical teams and other cross-functional subject matter experts as well as key business partners to implement on tactics consistent with overall in-line and pipeline strategy. This position will report to the Head of Lymphoma Medical Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Supports on tactics such as advisory boards, publication review, protocol review, training etc. as needed.
Supports development and execution of the cross-functional product and disease strategy.
Supports the development and update of a strategic scientific communication plan for the assigned product/therapeutic area.
Supports Global core content meetings for cross-functional alignment across relevant global and regional stakeholders.
Supports the development of standardized processes and systems that drive efficiency in Medical Affairs Activities.
Develops content for Medical Affairs teams, including slide decks, FAQs, and other resources to support the scientific communications strategy.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of Medical Affairs trends and KPIs to drive updates/revisions to these materials.
Supports the cross-functional development of communications platforms.
Ensures all MA content is up to date, aligned and consistent with the medical plan.
Partners with MA colleagues across regions to ensure medical content addresses prioritized field needs.
Ensures appropriate review, approval, and roll-out of global core content.
Maintains ongoing communication with MA asset leads, MA Field team, Evidence Generation Team representatives and other relevant functions to ensure alignment of materials with departmental and business strategies.
Collaborates effectively and in a compliant manner with colleagues in other functional areas, e.g. Clinical Research, Sales and Marketing, Market Access, PVE.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
M.D., Pharm. D, PhD or qualification in Life Sciences, Immunology, or Oncology.
Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with an expertise in cell therapy and Lymphoma.
Proven track record within Medical Affairs.
Excellent communication skills.
Sound organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent judgment and ability to work in a team environment.
Proven ability to work across a cross-functional matrix.
Self-starter with a “can do” attitude.
Basic knowledge of budget and account management.
Able to travel to domestic and international conferences (travel 35%).
