Who Does This Role Report Into? Regional Director - Facilities Management

Role Summary / Purpose and Scope

The Associate Director is responsible for the direct management of properties within our London Office Buildings portfolio, including the management and direction of staff reporting to them.

Additionally, the Associate Director is responsible for representing MAPP in the local and regional business and real estate community in order to promote MAPP's reputation and capabilities to prospective tenants, clients and the Client.

Line management of a team, enabling strong team performance through effective leadership, providing support and mentoring to colleagues.

Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service to our Clients and occupiers.

A high level of integrity and professionalism must be demonstrated and maintained at all times.

  1. IOSH / Member of IWFM
  2. Building Management/Contractor management
  3. Time management & Excellent organisational skills
  4. Proven experience in production and presentation of Client / management reports
  5. Excellent organisational skills & strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
  6. Effective line management skills
  7. Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages
  8. Pro-active, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role

Experience and Salary

Level of Experience / Certifications:

  1. 5 + years experience of working in a similar role
  2. A proven track record of FM in multi-let office buildings, retail & industrial parks.
  3. Riskwise (H&S compliance systems) CAFM systems
  4. Across buildings of different ages and sizes - has a strong understanding of systems, equipment, technology and landlord's services is helpful
  5. Experience of dealing with occupiers and what matters to them
  6. A good working knowledge of H&S, environmental and statutory regulations
  7. A good working knowledge of FM in hard and soft services
  8. Reasonable knowledge of networks, building management technology, industry software, compliance platforms and PO/invoice approval systems
  9. Demonstrably strong customer service skills
  10. Proven experience in service charge budgeting and understanding of RICS Codes
  11. Implementing processes and procedures and bringing teams through to deliver them
  12. Compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  13. Ability to effectively line manage and inspire FM, BM and FoH teams

Qualifications:

  1. Health & Safety - IOSH essential
  2. NEBOSH desirable
  3. IWFM Member
  4. RICS (Facilities Management) or working towards is desirable

Working Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday
Salary Range (Based on Experience) GBP 70,000 - GBP 72,000 per annum, depending on experience.
