About the role:

Would you like to join us as an Associate Director for Access Solutions in a global role within our company?

You will shape the design and support implementing Community Health Initiatives with our commercial country teams and local leads. This involves creating programs and interventions based on community health needs and aligning strategies with country organisations.

Anyone passionate about breaking barriers to healthcare access will find this role exhilarating. If you are eager to innovate beyond conventional methods to make a real impact, this opportunity is for you. You do not need a specific model—just the drive to go beyond business as usual and create access where it’s needed most.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community Health: Co-Lead the design and implementation of innovative community health models in Latin America, Canada, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa and other regions as needed that address local health needs in different regional/local contexts. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop evidence-based programs that promote sustainability and long-term impact and explore opportunities to leverage existing concepts (e.g. Cardio 4 Cities).
  2. Access Solutions: Develop and support implementation of strategies to expand access to company innovation for populations not reached through commercial channels, expand revenue streams and ensure financial sustainability. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with local and global public health organizations, governments, NGOs / IGOs, and other relevant stakeholders. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the global health sector, including seeking funding, grants, and partnerships with institutional donors and private sector entities.
  3. Health System Readiness: Develop and support implementation of health system strengthening initiatives to address barriers along the patient journey and strengthen the capabilities of local communities and institutions in implementing community health models. Develop and provide training, guidance, and technical support to ensure effective implementation and sustainability.
  4. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Provide strategic guidance, capability building and M&E Framework design support to further embed a culture of robust measurement and data-driven decision making across the Community Health team and Global Health.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree in business, economics, public health, engineering, medicine or relevant experience in Global Health innovation and/or global health entrepreneurship.
  • Extensive years working in the pharmaceutical industry or global health.
  • Experience working in or closely with local teams in low to middle income/developing country settings.
  • Preference for experience designing and implementing innovative access models.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to form trusted relationships easily and bring diverse experiences and backgrounds together effectively.
  • Flexible and learning mind-set, able to work in multiple technical and therapeutic areas in parallel.
  • Experience in access and reimbursement strategy with health policy and healthcare sector understanding.
  • Project management with cross-functional collaboration, analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Evidence of creating robust Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks across all Community Health models, including established centralised reporting mechanism.
