Job Title: Associate Civil Engineer - Team Leader

Location: Leicester, UK

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (Negotiable on experience)

About the Role: Our client, a leading and high-performing consultancy, is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Civil Engineer - Team Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced civil engineer to lead, run, and grow their own team within a busy and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of civil engineers and technicians
• Experience in drainage design and highways projects is essential.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and review project proposals, reports, and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Ideally Chartered with MICE (Near chartered would be considered)
• Demonstrable experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
