A fantastic opportunity has arisen at London North West University Health Care NHS Trust for an Associate Chief Nurse (Band 8d).
The Associate Chief Nurse is accountable to the Chief Nurse and is primarily responsible for the provision of a high-quality nursing service. They will lead on the delivery of the Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals strategy, implementing and monitoring measures to provide assurance on the quality and safety of nursing, midwifery, and AHP practice. The post holder is a member of the Corporate Nursing Team, assuming overall responsibility for nursing clinical effectiveness, including the ward accreditation framework. The post will appeal to a senior nursing manager with current or previous experience of leadership within the NHS at a senior level. They will need to demonstrate an understanding of complex healthcare delivery, service transformation, and the ability to develop collaborative partnerships to improve service delivery. A successful and proven track record of working in a senior nurse leadership role in an acute setting is paramount.
