Associate Buyer - FTC

Chase & Holland are delighted to partner with one of our blue chip clients in Chesterfield in their search for an Associate Buyer to join a developing team.

The successful applicant for the role will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Buyer Responsibilities:

1. Communicating with customers and suppliers via telephone and email
2. Sourcing products from various suppliers
3. Engaging and negotiating with suppliers for best price possible
4. Sourcing potential new suppliers
5. Placing orders and chasing suppliers to ensure customer orders are fulfilled
6. Working with spreadsheets and manipulating data
7. Provide support to Purchasing department

Key Requirements and Preferences:

1. Experience of working within a Purchasing/sourcing department or similar
2. Confident communicator and negotiator
3. Good Excel skills (Intermediate level)
