A forward-thinking property and construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join their growing team in central London.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a varied, commercially focused portfolio of clients while benefiting from a structured and supported pathway for career progression within a dynamic and collaborative team.

The Associate Building Surveyor Role

The successful Associate Building Surveyor will deliver a range of professional and project-related services for commercial properties, including design, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment.

In addition to client-facing responsibilities, you’ll play a key role in supporting junior surveyors, contributing to their development, and eventually stepping into a direct management position within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing a full range of Building Surveying services for commercial property projects.
  2. Offering expertise in defect diagnosis, CDM Regulations 2015, and Building Regulation legislation.
  3. Managing Party Wall matters and delivering detailed, high-quality reports.
  4. Collaborating with the team to drive growth and success.
  5. Mentoring junior staff and preparing for future leadership responsibilities.
The Ideal Associate Building Surveyor will have
  1. Qualifications: MRICS accreditation with a RICS-accredited degree.
  2. Experience: Strong background in commercial property projects and professional services.
  3. Skills: Excellent verbal communication, business development acumen, and report-writing abilities.
  4. Attributes: Organised, client-focused, and eager to contribute to team growth and success.
