Job description

Our client based in the Havant area is looking to recruit an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to assist with managing and controlling the warehouse stock, ensuring MTS accurately picks & delivers the right materials at the right time.


Accountabilities
  1. Assist with managing the security of materials and ensuring that they are accounted for accurately at all times.
  2. Placing of daily orders via agreed suppliers to ensure accurate stocking and replenishment of parts & materials.
  3. Receiving and checking of stock orders daily, booking in to the MTS system and locating items in the correct warehouse positions ready for picking.
  4. Ensuring orders are picked and processed accurately and delivered to the agreed location at the time requested.
  5. Ensuring that all operatives are notified when there are delays in deliveries.
  6. Communicating & coordinating with the management team when there are issues to be addressed.
  7. Ensure the timely delivery of operative's van stock on a daily basis.
  8. Accurately record details where orders are not correctly picked & delivered.
  9. Co-ordinate a number of delivery drivers to maximise efficiency and minimise the cost of deliveries to operatives.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of warehouse at all times.
  11. Ensure priming is completed in a timely manner.
  12. Ensure weekly company vehicle checks are undertaken and EV vans are charged for use.

Skill Set Required
  1. Previous warehouse experience.
  2. Good knowledge of stock replenishment systems.
  3. Strong organisational skills.
  4. Understanding of H, S & E requirements.
  5. Strong communication skills.
  6. A practical use of Excel and Outlook.
  7. Good numerical skills.
  8. Able to work under pressure.
  9. A full, clean Driving Licence.
