Skilled Careers are currently working alongside a residential developer who is looking for a Technical Coordinator to join the business on a residential led scheme in Saffron Walden. The Technical Coordinator will be required on site and ideally have experience working on traditional build developments. The SME developer has made a name for themselves producing high quality bespoke homes and has created a great working atmosphere for individuals to progress and develop their careers. The Technical Coordinator will be joining a business with great staff retention and excellent opportunities while also working for a family-run business that cares about its employees and the standard of the product they are producing.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Job Role/Responsibilities:

1. Provide backup to the Technical Manager on job running.
2. Check architects’ and engineers’ drawings.
3. Ensure enquiries and applications go to statutory service companies and local authorities.
4. Liaise with architects, engineers, and sub-contractors for information.
5. Deal with site queries.
6. Check plans and marketing collateral.
7. Internal liaison with planning, surveyors, construction, and sales.
8. Assist in the compilation of O + M manuals.
9. Carry out as-built demise checks against brochure.
10. Obtain postal addresses.
11. Attend Design Team Meetings.
12. Provide sustainability information to the Sustainability Manager.
13. Produce CAD drawings for Land, Commercial, Sustainability, and Technical.
14. Amend drawings.
