A well-established Brighton-based business is looking to recruit a full-time in-office Assistant Systems Accountant on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As Assistant Systems Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all departments have the required hardware for operation.
- Maintaining a register of change requests for all correct products and prices.
- Ensuring the system is fully operational.
- Overseeing the month-end process for purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices have been accounted for.
- Ensuring adherence to the purchase order system and notifying the management accountant of any non-compliance.
- Developing a management reporting system by extracting data from various systems to produce KPI reports.
- Maintaining Hardware Registers with the IT support company.
- Being the main point of contact with the IT support provider for general IT issues as they arise.
- Assisting with troubleshooting problems that arise within any software programs.
The Successful Applicant
- Knowledge of accounts, systems, IT, and operations.
- Central Brighton location, no parking, in-office Monday to Friday.
- Knowledge of software for accounts and operations along with strong Excel skills.
