Primary Purpose: The Assistant Store Leader leads the store alongside the Store Leader, maximizing productivity and profitability through team building, staff development, and compliance with Kate Spade Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership and accountability for the store and support the Store Leader;
- Model Kate Spade Service behaviors and selling standards;
- Empower the team to solve customer problems and meet their needs;
- Inspire the team to meet and exceed performance standards;
- Advocate for the team and motivate others to achieve results;
- Communicate effectively with the store leader, peers, and corporate partners;
- Assist in developing plans to address key business issues;
- Influence others to gain support for goals and projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a retail service environment in a management position;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
- Effective communication skills with customers and staff;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
