We are currently recruiting for a temp-to-perm Assistant Site Manager for a leading construction company in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, work on high-quality projects, and develop your career.

The Role

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site and assisting the Site Manager with all aspects of project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Supporting the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations
2. Ensuring all work is completed to NHBC standards and building regulations
3. Overseeing health & safety compliance and conducting site inspections
4. Coordinating and managing subcontractors and trades
5. Assisting with quality control, snagging, and ensuring a high standard of finish
6. Monitoring progress, keeping projects on schedule, and reporting updates
7. Resolving site issues efficiently to maintain productivity

What We’re Looking For

1. Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on NHBC-regulated sites
2. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and quality standards
3. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred)
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
6. Experience in residential construction projects
