An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager - Medical Staffing has arisen within the Urgent Care Division. Accountable to the Service Manager, the Assistant Service Manager will provide support to ensure effective operational delivery of a portfolio of the medical staffing workforce within Urgent Care.
Ideally you will have experience of working within a medical staffing function and experience of rota management. It would be desirable to have knowledge of medical terms and conditions with regards to contracts. The successful candidate will have day-to-day oversight of the medical staffing workforce within Emergency Medicine, Acute and General Medicine Specialties and will liaise closely with the Trusts' Medical Staffing Team.
You will work on your own initiative to identify and take action to resolve issues as necessary and be able to plan and prioritise competing demands. Suitable applicants will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work as part of a team. A flexible approach to work and excellent organisational skills are essential.
