Due to their success and strong turnover while delivering outstanding results, they now have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities

1. Check, register, acknowledge, and follow up on tender enquiries
2. Involved in aspects of costs and monitoring the commercial aspects of a development
3. Take on tasks instructed by the Project QS or Commercial Manager
4. Attend cost meetings where required
5. Assist with tender finalisation
6. Assist with/produce site rates for sub-contractors
7. Check sub-contractor payment applications
8. Assist with documentation and valuing of variations

Personal Specification & Requirements

1. Highly motivated with a strong desire to grow within the business
2. Degree Qualified
3. Good problem solver and able to work with minimal instruction
4. Punctual, reliable, and possessing good practical skills
5. Able to work autonomously
6. Exceptional attention to detail
