The role of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
You will be joining a UK 5 House Builder who is going through a huge expansion and commercial restructure. You will be joining a restructured office in an expanding 5 House builder who offers further education and clear routes of progression within the company.

Responsibilities for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

1. Assisting in preparing budgets, cost plans and valuations
2. Conducting site visits to monitor progress and assess variations
3. Working closely with operations, design and health and safety teams towards key project targets
4. Establishing and developing productive and professional working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
5. Supporting the monitoring of cost control and implementing cost mitigation strategies, assessing risk, at all times acting fairly and reasonably
6. Contributing data to assist with the production of a monthly commercial report, fully describing the position and plan for management of risk, opportunity, cost and value for those sub-contracts delegated to you to manage
7. Supporting to ensure timely agreement of final accounts with your supply chain packages

1. Experience working for either a Main Contractor with new build or house builder
2. Relevant Degree or Qualifications
3. Experience working in a fast-paced environment

1. Salary up to 45,000 DOE
