Job description

Our client, a global leader in HVAC manufacturing for the Commercial and Data Centre markets, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This role involves supporting the management of contractual and financial aspects of construction projects, including preparing Payment Applications, Cashflows, Monthly P&L Reports, and Cost Estimates. The ideal candidate will assist in contract management, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and meet quality standards.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
  • Assist in preparing and updating project budgets and conduct cost analyses for various project stages.
  • Support in the preparation and management of contracts and procurement documentation and assist in evaluating and negotiating contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Preparing interim valuations and final accounts and monthly P & L Reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of all projects related financial and contractual documents and prepare regular reports on project status, costs, and budget forecasts.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • MRICS preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and numerical and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
