Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Overview

• Supporting the commercial team in managing groundworks projects.
• Assisting with cost management, valuations, and budget tracking.
• Procuring subcontractors and managing payments.
• Preparing and reviewing variations and change orders.
• Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Attending site visits and liaising with project teams to ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Producing reports and assisting with commercial negotiations.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements

• Hold a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction (Degree, HNC, HND, T-Level, BTEC)
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with experience
• Based within commuting distance of Grantham
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
