The Role

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Transport Planner to join their dynamic team in Bristol. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse transport planning projects, providing innovative solutions to modern transportation challenges. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting transport assessments and travel plans to support planning applications.
  • Analysing data, statistics, and usage patterns.
  • Developing sustainable transport strategies, including cycling and pedestrian infrastructure.
  • Using transport modelling tools to simulate and optimize systems.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • A degree in transport planning, geography, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in transport planning or a similar field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, TRICS, or Junctions 10.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainable and innovative transport solutions.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without restriction.
