Job summary

An established maintenance service provider is seeking an Interim Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a remote role covering projects across the Midlands and North of England. This position offers a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to work on diverse projects while maintaining flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Quantity Surveying, along with strong numeric and IT skills, particularly in Excel. You will be responsible for preparing quotes, producing bills of quantities, and liaising with the Quantity Surveying team. Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with JCT, NEC3, and ideally NEC4 contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Quantity Surveying team for budget information.

Interim Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Midlands / North England (*Remote Working)

£170 - £190 per day outside IR35 - 3 - 6 month contract

Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established Maintenance Service Provider to source an Interim Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This is a remote working role* covering projects across the Midlands to the North of England.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for preparing Quotes & Tenders.
  2. Producing Bill of Quantities.
  3. Responsible for Reports, Variations, Valuations, and Retentions.
  4. Liaise with the Quantity Surveying team and provide all necessary forecast and site budget information to meet the business's reporting requirements.
  5. Assist with maintaining final account schedules.

About you:
  1. You will hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
  2. Have experience of JCT, NEC3 and ideally NEC4 forms of contract.
  3. You must be an autonomous self-starter.
  4. Be proficient in the full Microsoft Office package in particular, Excel.
  5. My client is looking for a well organised and self-starting Assistant Quantity Surveyor with excellent numeric and IT skills.

Note:
Although a remote working role, you may need to travel to a regional HQ 2 days per month.
