What you will be doing
You will be working in a recovery focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for males aged 18 and over, alongside addressing conditions like depression, self-harm, physical health concerns, and psychological distress including trauma.
As an Assistant Psychologist you will have the opportunity to assist with assessments, formulations, and treatment to our service users, under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist. You will also assist in clinically related administration including conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching, and project work.

You will be working at Sturt House, a recovery focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for males aged 18 and over. Working as part of a team, you will provide individualised care and treatment utilising least restrictive practice principles and safe practice to support Service Users in their recovery. Sturt House is committed to delivering a high standard of care, with the Service User encouraged and supported to be actively involved in the development and review of their treatment and pathway in accordance with their own abilities.
