Our client seeks an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support multiple Project Managers on neighborhood developments in Newmarket, NH. This role involves managing subcontracts, reviewing plans, and helping ensure each project is completed on time and on budget.

Description

  • Project Assistance: Support multiple Project Managers with various tasks, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and budget tracking to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Subcontract Management: Oversee and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring all parties meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Plan Review: Regularly review project plans and documentation, identifying and troubleshooting potential issues to ensure projects are completed to client satisfaction.
  • Documentation & Communication: Utilize Procore and MS Office to track project updates, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Safety: Support safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations, fostering a safe working environment on all job sites.

Profile

  • Experience: 1-2 years as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role, ideally with exposure to neighborhood development or residential projects.
  • Process-Driven Mindset: Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to follow structured processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Procore and MS Office for project tracking, documentation, and communication.
  • Collaborative Approach: Thrives in a team-oriented environment and is eager to learn from seasoned Project Managers.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Identifies issues early, seeks solutions, and adapts to changing project demands.
